Fraktus acquires and deploys 100 vending machines at a large university campus, including student dorms. The machines are managed by our autonomous economic software agent. The AI collects revenues from snack and beverage sales, and manages inventory restocking, cleaning and maintenance by hiring service providers through the gig economy. Given the vending machine’s economy is powered by a native utility token, customers are rewarded in cash back for using the service, but also for staking and trading the tokens.Once the vending machines repay the amount Fraktus originally paid to acquire them with interest, the profits from further sales are distributed to the community of customers. As such, FRAKs behave as public goods at the protocol level, while preserving private ownership.

The cars are automated with our autonomous economic agents: the AI manages the fleet’s budget, pays the bills, and hires service providers. Cleaning, maintenance, repair and fleet management services (where the taxis go and when) are provided by a third party and managed by the AI. The fleet provides transport services to the public and the AI uses the revenues to meet its liabilities, including repaying the amount Fraktus originally paid to acquire the fleet, plus interest. Given the entire fleet economy is powered by a native utility token, aplethora of DeFi services is available to users holding these tokens, including staking, which provides a much higher APY than any traditional bank. The token can be swapped for crypto or fiat at any time, and is backed by real-world assets– the taxi fleet itself.
